Eilat, Here We Come!

MJAA is pleased to announce the opening of a new aid center, Kadesh MAP, located in Eilat.

This is indeed a special event because Eilat is a great distance from the main populated areas of Israel and thus their needy folks have been neglected.

Kadesh MAP used to be located in Tel Aviv, but after several years, has now joined with Russian Messianic non-profit Haim Amitiim in a joint venture to reopen in Eilat. Co-manager Dominiquae said, “The goal will be to reach out to the community in creative ways, including works of mercy and giving.”

 Eilat

Israel's southernmost city, Eilat is a busy port and a popular resort located at the northern tip of the Red Sea, on the Gulf of Eilat. Home to 65,000 people, Eilat is part of the southern Negev desert. The city is adjacent to the Egyptian border to the south, Jordan to the east, and within sight of Saudi Arabia to the southeast, across the gulf. Eilat's arid desert temperatures often exceed 104° F in summer, and get colder than 64° F in winter.

Co-manager Yuri has been in touch with us and is excited that this project has finally been given the go-ahead. He said, “Eilat is a city that absorbs both new immigrants and a host of single-parent families that have great needs. We believe that this mercy outreach will cause a great impact in the city.”

Although our delivery expenses will increase due to the extra distance (580 miles) and time (11 Hours + an overnight stay in an Eilat hostel), the extra cost is worth servicing Eilat, with its overlooked contingency in need, overlooked simply because of the distance from Israel’s populated areas.

MJAA ROI is grateful for the opportunity to bring restoration to the uttermost regions of Israel.
