Love One Another

The MJAA aid centers throughout Israel provide clothing and household items to everyone who enters seeking help Jew and Arab alike.

Pat works at the Or Roeh aid center in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and has a wonderful story to share with us. Pat said, “Please continue to pray for Haniya*, one of the Muslim women to whom we’ve been giving aid. She desperately wants to live in peace with people and just have everyone love each other.”

One day while Haniya was picking up a new dress and some non-perishable food items at Or Roeh, she asked Pat, “Why Americans make the Muslim people have to kill them -- like 9/11?” A few months ago Haniya stopped attending her mosque because all they do is talk about hating people, she told Pat.

But this day in mid February was very special for Haniya and Pat. Pat said, “She told me today that she’s decided to always attend the Women’s Bible Study and possibly the Or Roeh congregation service. We pray that she gives her life to the Lord.”

Sixty percent of Arab children are below the poverty level. What a joy it is for MJAA to be able to help our Arab cousins. As the number of people like Haniya grows it provides further evidence that peace will only come through Sar Shalom—the Prince of Peace. In the meantime, MJAA will continue to strive toward the restoration of Israel (ROI), for the physical and spiritual restoration of all who live in Israel, no matter who they are.
