Restoration of Israel Objectives
"I will strengthen the house of Judah
and save the house of Joseph. I will restore them
because I have compassion on them
They will be as though I had not rejected them,
for I am the LORD their God."
                               Zechariah 10:6
ROI objectives

The most important prophetic event to herald the Messiah’s return to Israel will be the spiritual restoration of Israel. In the third century CE, at the Council of Nicea, the church fathers of that day issued divorce papers to the Jewish believers in Yeshua. They stated in no uncertain terms that a Jewish person could no longer be Jewish in culture or ethnicity and be a true believer in Yeshua.

Since that time, faith in Yeshua no longer resembled the Jewish faith that the apostles and Paul shared with the Greek and Roman world of their time. It no longer looked like the Jewish olive tree that Paul described in Romans 11 where the root and trunk of the tree was Jewish and the nations were grafted in. It has for the last 1700 years appeared to be a Christian olive tree, i.e. the roots and trunk of the tree being Gentile with a few Jews being grafted in. However, kindly the Christian olive tree may appear to be today it remains unclear to our people that faith in Yeshua is a spiritually Jewish alternative.

ROI Full GlobeThis is why the Lord has raised up Restoration of Israel (ROI). ROI represents the biblical Jewish olive tree that Paul described. The “root and trunk” (i.e. the genesis of ROI) is Messianic Jewish with many Christians being “grafted into” or joining in
its ministry. As our people see the Messiah’s heart of compassion expressed through the prophetic and biblical partnership of both the Messianic Jewish (root and trunk) and Christian communities (grafted in branches) only then can a paradigm shift happen in how the nation of Israel sees Yeshua and embrace Him as the Messiah.

Therefore, if the revival of Israel is to become a reality, it is critical that all participants in ROI understand and agree that the Messianic community in partnership with their Christian brothers and sisters—must lead in this endeavor. For the Messiah himself says that He will not return to Jerusalem as prophesied in Scripture until the Jewish people say “blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord”.

The MJAA role in bringing restoration to Israel hinges on five primary objectives:

So, what can we as the Body of Messiah do about bringing spiritual and physical restoration to Israel?  Since 1915, the MJAA has worked toward the restoration of Israel.  Spiritually the MJAA has brought the Good News of Messiah to the Jewish people and established a visible testimony to the growing community of Messianic Jews throughout the world.  Physically the MJAA has brought millions of dollars of humanitarian aid and support to Israel and to Jewish people waiting to immigrate to their Homeland, Israel.

With the continued prayers and support of the Body of Messiah great strides will be made for the restoration of Israel. Read more details...
